'30 Rock' may be pulled from American Airlines because of Alec Baldwin

Alec-Baldwin-cropped.jpgOh, you have got to be kidding. The American Airlines Flight Attendants Union is reportedly taking the first steps towards removing "30 Rock" from their in-flight entertainment because of Alec Baldwin's "Saturday Night Live" spoof, according to E Online. If you recall, Baldwin was kicked off an AA flight because he really, really really loves "Words With Friends" and refused to stop playing.

Now we totally understand why he was removed from the flight. We also understand how darn addictive that game is. And in a world where you have to pay for every morsel of food and every bag you bring on the plane, live with pat downs and naked radiation boxes and security lines longer than the ones at Macy's on Black Friday, we get how a small thing like a game takes on so much meaning.

That said ... really American Airlines? Really? First of all, do you think Alec Baldwin is going to be taking any more AA flights? Do you think he cares? Who would you be punishing here? Us, that's who! We have to be smashed in those tiny little seats for hours on end. Why would you take away a show that makes it bearable for a half an hour? Don't be petulant little whiny babies here, AA. Suck it up and move on.
