'90210' series finale: Everything settles in the bombing aftermath of 'We All Fall Down'
And that's what they get.
The "90210" finale picks up right where the previous episode left off. Whatever that explosion was that took down the theater, there are injuries and a lot of damage.
Everyone quickly descends upon the disaster site in order to do his or her thing. Liam ( Matt Lanter), looking for a way to not go to Australia, rushes over. Naomi ( AnnaLynne McCord) takes a little longer (needing to spin her "wild night with the Prince"), but then she promptly turns the whole thing into a way to benefit herself.
And then there's Navid ( Michael Steger) -- slightly injured himself, Navid ignores the fireman and runs back into the theater to look for Adrianna ( Jessica Lowndes). He finds her pretty quickly, but of course she's stuck and they have to wait for another rescue.
Help doesn't come too quickly. This is because the firemen won't go in until the bomb squad checks out everything. And the bomb squad is going to take hours. Thus, they're going to just leave injured people in the rubble for a few hours. It's not the best disaster-relief effort in history.
Let's all just ignore the fact that Naomi managed to get the Goo Goo Dolls to play a benefit concert before the bomb squad and search-and-rescue people even showed up. Logic is not a good thing here. Of course, the concert isn't such a good thing either because emergency services can't go another way to save people.
Seriously, this is the worst-managed crisis in history.
At least this allows Adrianna and Navid to figure out that they love each other and always want to be together in a house with a white-picket fence. Yay! The two even get a happy ending, because this is a series finale, so the show doesn't need to punish them anymore.
There are happy or semi-happy endings for the others as well. Naomi gets to run off with her boyfriend to Japan (where the emperor wants to thank her for scaring the Prince straight).
Silver ( Jessica Stroup) has a less-fun ending, what with having cancer and all. Fortunately, a pep talk from Dixon ( Tristan Wilds) gives her the strength to call her doctor and face the whole thing bravely.
Annie ( Shenae Grimes) almost hops on a plane to Paris, but Liam has his realization of love just in time and intercepts the plane with his motorcycle. Because you're allowed to drive those on active runways. Whatever. Working on the theory that the police are not about to arrest him, Liam offers Annie a ring and a proposal.
And they all lived happily ever after. Does that work for you? Is this how you wanted to see it all end on "90210"?
