'90210's' new villain, Blair Redford, says things 'get pretty nasty'

This season he's the new guy at West Bev and he's definitely stirring the pot.  Blair Redford plays Oscar, the newest troublemaker to hit The CW's  "90210."

In the last episode, we saw him basically lure Dixon ( Tristan Wilds) into a compromising position, then he made sure Ivy ( Gillian Zinser) knew about it. All the while, he's hooking up with Ivy's mom, Laurel ( Kelly Lynch). Redford tells us that Oscar isn't just in it for the women. This villain has a master plan.

"It's not just chance that he decided to stay the year once school began," Redford, 27, tells Zap2it. "He definitely has a plan worked out and he needed to be in Beverly Hills and be around these people to carry out his plan."

In Monday's Sept. 27 episode, Oscar, who has just learned that Ivy is a virgin, uses that knowledge to further manipulate her and Dixon. After we told him that right now on a TV villain scale from one to 10, Oscar is a three, Redford clued us in to just how bad things get.

"I don't know what other debauchery they have planned for Oscar," he says. "But from what I've shot so far, I'd say three would be bumped up to an eight, probably... Yeah, it gets pretty nasty."

We'd say the Atlanta native (yes, he plays a convincing Brit) is doing a pretty good job of keeping us in suspense, but he says we'll soon begin to learn more about why Oscar is up to no good.

"He's not twirling his moustache and being evil without cause," Redford says. "Details will come out explaining why he's doing what he's doing... To me, it will be interesting to see how the fans react when they find out why he's doing what he's doing."

Are you intrigued by the new guy and what he's hiding up his sleeve?

" 90210" airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
