ACM Awards 2013: Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan and everyone else celebrate the 'Boys 'Round Here'

blake-shelton-luke-bryan-acm-opening.jpgBlake Shelton and Luke Bryan are the hosts of the 48th annual Academy of Country Music Awards, but they decided to share the stage with a whole lot of people at the top of the show.

The duo opened Sunday's (April 7) awards with a duet of Shelton's song "Boys 'Round Here," and the duet soon became a group effort. Miranda Lambert (Shelton's wife), Sheryl Crow and Brad Paisley, among others, all joined in on the ode to good ol' boys everywhere.

The good-time spirit continued as Shelton and Bryan traded insults in their opening banter about the relative tightness of their jeans (not great) and a joke about ABC's "Nashville" that suggested Shelton is the Rayna James of the duo and Bryan is the Juliette Barnes (much better).

It put the Las Vegas crowd in the right kind of celebratory mood, though, and that's what hosts are supposed to do.
