Actor Larry Miller recovered from life-threatening brain injury

larry-miller-brain-injury.jpg Larry Miller, a character actor who's been in everything from "Seinfeld" to "Boston Legal" and "10 Things I Hate About You" to "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang," has recovered from his life-threatening brain injury, reports People.

Miller, 58, fell and sustained the head injury in April 2011 when he lost his footing and hit the back of his head on the sidewalk. At the time, the public did not know the seriousness of the injury.

Michael Hansen, the actor's spokesman, now says that Miller went into a coma and was then on life support at the UCLA Medical Center for a month.

"He was hovering between life and death. It's a miracle he woke up ... he's lucky to be alive," says Hansen.

After regaining consciousness a month after the injury, Miller had a long road to recovery, as he had to work on regaining basic cognitive functions and brain connectivity. But he is now expected to make a full recovery.

"I'm very thankful to have recovered from a traumatic brain injury so quickly," says Miller.
