Alec Baldwin and wife Hilaria Thomas Baldwin scuffle with paparazzo in New York

Just days after the former "30 Rock" star's wife Hilaria Thomas Baldwin gave birth to baby girl Carmen Gabriela, the couple stepped out sans infant. And much to Alec's chagrin, the paparazzi followed.

Baldwin apparently didn't take kindly to his wife being subjected to the spotlight, and it appears he tried to forcibly remove the camera from the equation. A series of photos published by TMZ show Baldwin scuffling with the photographer and reaching for the man's video camera.

In one photo, Baldwin has the paparazzo pinned on the hood of a car as the A-lister pulls the snapper's arms behind his back. Another photo shows Baldwin and the photog, both with their hands on the camera lens. It appears the pair are attempting to wrestle the camera away from each other, as Hilaria reaches in to the scuffle.

At one point during the melee, Alec reportedly called the cops as Hilaria ducked in to a tea store.

The NYPD says Baldwin and the cameraman both admit to getting physical with each other, and both declined to pursue charges.

This is not the first time Baldwin has gotten physical with a paparazzo. In 2012, he was accused of punching a photographer one month prior to pinning another against a van while dropping F-bombs.
