AMC announces 'The Walking Dead,' 'Breaking Bad' TV marathons

"Breaking Bad" and "The Walking Dead" fans rejoice, because this holiday season is going to be the perfect time to get your friends and family also hooked on the shows.

AMC announced two back-to-back marathons of two of its most beloved television shows starting the weekend after Christmas. A four-day "Breaking Bad" marathon will begin on Dec. 27 at noon ET/PT, and will show every episode of the show up through its recent series finale.

Starting after that on Jan. 1 at 9 a.m. ET/PT, AMC will begin a two-day marathon of "The Walking Dead" starting with its pilot episode. That marathon will end at on Jan. 2 at 5 a.m.

Both "The Walking Dead" and "Breaking Bad" bring in record-breaking ratings for AMC. "Breaking Bad's" 90-minute series finale brought in a series high of 10.3 million viewers. Meanwhile, "The Walking Dead's" Season 4 premiere brought in a series-high of 16.1 million viewers.
