'American Horror Story: Coven' adds 'Fringe's' Lance Reddick as ...

lance-reddick-american-horror-story-coven.jpgIn addition to Stevie Nicks stopping by for two episodes, "American Horror Story: Coven" has another new face for the end to Season 3 -- Lance Reddick, whom you may know as Agent Phillip Broyles from FOX sci-fi drama "Fringe."

EW reports that Reddick will join the show as Papa Legba, a pivotal person in the life of Maria Laveau (Angela Bassett). He'll be an important character for the final four episodes of the series.

Papa Legba is yet another character borrowed from real life. The figure is a voodoo middleman, of sorts. He is the go-between for humans and the spirit world in the practice of Haitian voodoo. Creator Ryan Murphy teases, "You find out that's how come Marie Laveau looks so good -- because she sold her soul."

"American Horror Story: Coven" airs Wednesday nights at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FX.
