'American Horror Story': You've seen the creepy video, now see the even creepier poster
Friday (Aug. 19) was apparently "bombard the Internet with freaky imagery from
'American Horror Story' day."
First, FX released a 30-second teaser for its new series featuring, among other things, a rubber- or latex-encased arm reaching down to creepily caress Connie Britton's character. Then came the key art for the series:
Yikes. We're assuming that's Britton stretched out on the floor, and we now can see the person the arm is connected to -- and he's covered head-to-toe in a rubber suit. With scales down the spine.
So, yeah. Message received, FX: This isn't your everyday scary show.
"American Horror Story," co-created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk ("Glee," "Nip/Tuck"), premieres Wednesday, Oct. 5.
