'American Idol' Adam Lambert will guest on 'So You Think You Can Dance' finale

adamlambert_2_290.jpgABC may not want Adam Lambert, but FOX is welcome him back to the old stomping grounds with open arms.

The "American Idol" runner-up, under fire for a risque performance at ABC's American Music Awards ceremony, will guest on the Dec. 16 "So You Think You Can Dance" finale. Both shows air on FOX.

The final six contestants will perform Dec. 15, followed by the winner's crowning the next night. Aside from Lambert, FOX promises "surprise guests and special performances" during the show.

For his part, Lambert is scheduled to sing "Whataya Want from Me" from his recent album "For Your Entertainment." We'll be tuning in -- as FOX is surely hoping many people do -- to see whether Adam delivers another shocking show.
