'American Idol': Adam Lambert would be 'more than flattered' to talk about judging

adam-lambert-getty-idol.jpgNews broke early Monday morning (July 9) that "American Idol" is in talks with Season 8 runner-up Adam Lambert to take a spot on the judges' panel for Season 12. According to a source, the popular music show is looking at him as a Jennifer Lopez replacement.

However, Glambert has given a statement to the Hollywood Reporter that makes it sound as though he has not yet been contacted - but that he'd definitely be up for it.

"'Idol' has an amazing history of introducing great musical talent, and I was very fortunate to have had the Idol stage play a big part in my career. If Idol wants to talk to me about judging, I'd be more than flattered to have that conversation," says Lambert.

What do you think, "Idol" fans? What if it was an all-male panel? Do you think Glambert would be a good judge?
