According to American Idol Now, Golightly's book is titled "Orphan" and contains "copies of legal documents detailing some of the horrors Chris experienced, as well as the official documents that allegedly will prove Chris should not have been disqualified from 'American Idol.'"

Chris also tells AI now about his life being shuttled in and out of orphanages and foster homes, the horrific abuse he suffered, including being locked in a trunk for so long he drank his own urine for sustenance, and ultimately how he found God.

"Orphan" is due out in the fall of 2010.
