'American Idol' Katharine McPhee gives back

To celebrate Chase's donation of $5 million to the Feeding America organization, Katharine McPhee joined the Forgotten Harvest Food Bank in Detroit, MI in helping raise awareness about hunger in Michigan and all across the United States.

katharine-mcphee-american-idol-food-bank.jpgKatharine is a member of Feeding America's Entertainment Council, which is chaired by actor David Arquette and includes other celebrities like Courteney Cox, Jennifer Aniston, Marcia Cross, Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Sheryl Crow, Josh Groban, Ali Larter, other "American Idol" Kimberly Locke, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, Rachael Ray and Alison Sweeney.
