'American Idol': Kristin Chenoweth to guest judge

kristinchenoweth_290.jpgWe'll give "American Idol" this much: they're going out of their way to book guest judges that we're actually interested in seeing.

Kristin Chenoweth, the tiny woman with a four-octave range, has joined the likes of Neil Patrick Harris, Katy Perry, Joe Jonas and Victoria Beckham in determining whether or not next season's hopefuls will make it to Hollywood. She will join regular judges Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi for the Orlando auditions.

Chenoweth won a Tony for playing Sally in "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown" and also originated the role of Glinda the Good Witch in Broadway's "Wicked."
