'American Idol' Season 13, 'The Following' Season 2 get premiere dates

You'll be able to see Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban, and newbie judge Harry Connick Jr. in action when the veteran singing competition returns for a two-night, four-hour premiere on Wednesday, Jan. 15 and Thursday, Jan. 16 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

FOX also announced the return of creepy serial killer drama "The Following," which will make its way back to the schedule following the "Sleepy Hollow" finale on Monday, Jan. 20 at 9 p.m. ET and run for 15 uninterrupted weeks.

Of the network's new series, the Greg Kinnear legal drama "Rake" gets a two-night premiere on Sunday, Jan. 19 at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT after the NFC Championship Game, then settles into its regular time slot on Thursday, Jan. 23 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. As previously announced, comedy "Enlisted" will debut Friday, Jan. 10 at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT. Animation Domination High-Def gets two new series, "Lucas Bros. Moving Co." and "Golan the Insatiable" on Saturday, Jan. 11 at 11 p.m. ET/PT.

Comedies "Surviving Jack" and "Us & Them" will premiere later in the spring.
