'American Idol' winner Jordin Sparks to guest on 'Bones'
Not only did she win the sixth season of "American Idol," but she's also going to appear on an upcoming episode of "Bones."
Sparks, a huge fan of the FOX forensics drama, tweeted the news yesterday.
"Big news ..." she teased, before linking to the TV Guide report, in which "Bones" creator Hart Hanson confirmed, "I think it's OK to say that she's going to be [on] it. No ... I can't tell you where or when [yet] but she's going to be on the show."
There aren't any real details yet, like whether or not Jordin will get to sing on the show, but reading her Twitter feed, you can't help but get excited.
"You guys KNOW I was freaking out! I LOVE BONES! #Bones #Bones #Bones I'm so excited! Holy moly. Can't wait to see the set!," she posted, later adding, "Not tonight['s] episode though. I'll let you know when I can!"
Another "Idol" contender, Ace Young, previously appeared on "Bones," and his character was killed in that episode. We're sure Jordin wouldn't mind playing a dead person on her favorite show. Another notable "Idol" acting gigs: Clay Aiken on "Scrubs" and the upcoming appearances of Katharine McPhee on "Community" and Carrie Underwood on "How I Met Your Mother."
