'American Idol's' Kimberly Caldwell hoping to meet Steven Tyler, plus 12 more confessions

Kimberly-Caldwell-popgeneration.jpgWe make no apologies for loving catchy pop music, and right now we're totally digging Kimberly Caldwell's latest pop ballad "Desperate Boys & Stupid Girls." It's the first single off her debut album "Without Regret," which is expected to hit stores this April.

Zap2it caught up with the bubbly blonde, who first jumped into the lime-light during the second season of "American Idol," and asked her about everything from her most embarrassing moment, to her drink of choice (and we love that she's a tequila girl). She even spilled on which celeb she's dying to meet. See her 13 confessions below.

1.) Tell us one thing we don't know about you.
I hold the record for number of wins for Junior Vocalists on the original Star Search when I was eleven. It was my American Idol.

2.) If you had to choose another career, what would you be?
I think I would be a hair/makeup artist. I do my own most the time and even released hair/makeup tutorials on how to get the "Desperate Girls and Stupid Girls" video looks.  You can check out my hair and makeup tutorials on YouTube.

3.) Who was your first kiss?
His initials are E.M. Haha! It was at a junior high birthday party and he had braces but it was still pretty good. Very sweet.

4.) What super power would you like to have?
I hate working out but I love the satisfaction at the end so I wish I could blink my eyes and feel healthy like after a good workout.

5.) Tell us about one of your most embarrassing moments.
I was in high school and a senior asked me to prom when I was a sophomore. I was the only underclassmen in a group of 20 and I tripped outside of dinner before the night even got started. I ripped my dress up and my knee was gushing blood but I stood up and laughed even though I wanted to die! My date gave me his jacket and I wrapped it around my waist for the rest of the night. Turned out to be a very memorable time!

6.) Is there another celebrity you've always wanted to meet and haven't yet?
I love Steven Tyler! I have always been a massive fan of Aerosmith and I hope with the whole Idol connection now maybe our paths will cross!

7.) What is your favorite book?
Cosmopolitan Magazine. :)

8.) Do you have a favorite "American Idol" moment from another season?
Anytime Fantasia sang anything.

9.) What's your worst habit?
I bite my nails but I wear acrylics so that keeps me in line. And I take waaaay too many baths! I love bubble baths.

10. What's your favorite alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink?
Fave non-alcoholic is Strawberry Nirvana from Jamba Juice with a shot of wheatgrass. I love me some chilled Silver Patron and a Bud Light. I'm a true Texas girl.

11.) What do your friends make fun of you for?
My nostrils flare when I laugh really hard an it looks like I'm about to fly away so it makes them laugh even harder. Also, I'm always losing my phone so they always mock me saying, "Guys, I lost my phone, having you seen my phone?" It's sad that it's normally on my hand or purse.

12.) What is your favorite song to sing in the car?
I heart singing Bruno Mars tunes when I'm driving but because I sing all day long I normally take a break from the noise.

13.) If you could jam with one person dead or alive, who would it be?
Wynona Judd, Pat Benatar, Melissa Etheridge, Joan Jet! All of them!
