'American Idol's' Pia Toscano reportedly signs record deal; album being rushed

pia-toscano-headshot.jpgJust two days after her shocking elimination from "American Idol," finalist Pia Toscano has reportedly signed a record, according to US Weekly.

US reports that 22-year-old Pia will record her debut album with Interscope Records. "IdoL" mentor Jimmy Iovine is the chairman of Interscope, so he was apparently quick to scoop up this songbird.

In her exit interview with the press, Pia expressed that she wasn't upset about being eliminated, she was just excited about her future and to see what doors would open for her, so it looks like she really did have nothing to worry about. US Weekly's source says that Pia's album is going to be rushed into the studio for a quick release.

What do you think, "Idol" fans? Excited for Pia?
