'America's Got Talent': Cami Bradley and Timber Brown steal the show
Just for the record, we weren't able to recap last week because of a work committment, but we were disappointed that illusionist Leon Etienne & Romy Low and comedian Jim Meskimen were eliminated. If there's a wild card show, we hope they come back. But good for Chicago Boyz and Jonathan Allen.
Anyway, on to tonight's acts. The stand-outs for us were Timber Brown and Cami Bradley. Brown is very talented and very Las Vegas. Bradley isn't so much Vegas, but she's a good singer and her rendition of "Do You Believe in Life After Love" was great.
The audience seemed to really like Taylor Williamson, though we didn't find him that funny. Jimmy Rose we're torn on -- the audience loved him and he got the pimp spot, but the actual tone to his voice is more nasal than we like our country singers. It's the same problem we have with Randy Travis' voice and he's obviously a big star, so that may just be personal preference.
We would not be at all surprised if those four acts advance. Who else did OK?
Chloe Channell has a great voice, especially for her age, but she didn't choose the greatest song. Same goes for The Robotix -- "Paranoid" by Black Sabbath was way too big for their female vocalist.
David Ferman, Aerial Ice and Champions Forever are all very strong, as well, but they're all lacking some oomph. And SensEtion and 3Penny just don't really do it for us, though Tummy Talk is the dumbest act of the night.
Who do you think will advance?
