'America's Next Top Model's' Allison Harvard: 'Angelea is more of a personal thing that went on with her'
Are you glad you came back to Top Model?
"Um, yeah. I feel like that was something I kind of thought about even before I completely was on board with it. I thought about it a lot. I had so many great experiences and I came out with some good friends, and some ridiculous experiences and I got to go to Greece. I mean, life isn't so bad. [ laughs] I had a really great time and it's always fun to go on an adventure."
Some girls were mad that all stars wasn't exactly what you were pitched, did you feel that way?
[ laughs] "Welllll ... it was definitely pitched to us in a little bit different light than the reality of it actually was. But that's also something I factored into the equation when it was being pitched. As much as you want to make it seem like o h, it's going to be completely different, it's going to be all about branding - it's nice to say that but, at the end of the day it's still 'America's Next Top Model.' It was the same show with some more colorful challenges, so it wasn't quite what we were pitched, but you just have to work with it once you're there."
Did they tell you what happened with Angelea?
"I think what happened with Angelea is more of a personal thing that went on with her. Out of respect and undying love for her, I think I will remain silent."
How long after the first finale was shot did you re-film the new one?
"It wasn't too long. It was maybe two months."
What's next for you?
I'm enjoying living in New York. I'm very lucky to live here, it's like it's own little country. I have so many creative outlets that are available to me. I'm going to always be painting and I'm working on my book for art direction. I still love modeling and I think I'm going to take some acting classes. I've always loved theatre and it's like, 'Why not?' I'm in the most productive time of my life right now and I'm going to really utilize that."
Any messages to your fans?
"All of you that have been supportive of me, everyone is such a precious angel. I'm just forever grateful for it. They've just made it a whole other unreal experience in and of itself. I don't think I'll ever get used to the kindness and the overwhelming amount of emails I get. I just can't say it enough, I'm just so grateful for it. It's just so endearing and flattering."
"America's Next Top Model" airs Wednesday nights at 8 p.m. ET/PT on the CW.
