Tim Burton just added two big names to his upcoming movie "Big Eyes." It is being reported that Amy Adams and Christoph Waltz have joined the cast of the Margaret Keane biopic.

When the movie was first announced back in 2008, Kate Hudson was signed to play the famous painter. "Big Eyes" has gone through many iterations since, with Burton now taking the directing reins from screenwriters Alexander and Larry Karaszewki. The duo, who have worked with Burton on "Ed Wood," were originally slated to helm the movie while Burton was only going to produce it.

Deadline broke the news about Burton, Waltz and Adams. Despite the many internal changes over the years, "Big Eyes" still seems to focus around Keane's paintings of big-eyed children and her court battle with husband Walter Keane (who Waltz will play) over who the actual artist was behind them. At one point Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Reynolds were slated to play Margaret and Walter as well.
