The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will honor Angelina Jolie, Steve Martin, Angela Lansbury and Piero Tosi at the Academy's 5th Annual Governors Awards.

"The Governors Awards pay tribute to individuals who've made indelible contributions in their respective fields," says Academy President Cheryl Boone Isaacs.  "We couldn't be more excited for this year's honorees and look forward to bringing their peers and colleagues together to celebrate their extraordinary achievements."

While Martin and Lansbury's acting credits are lauded, Jolie -- an Oscar-winner for her starring role in the 1999 drama, "Girl, Interrupted" -- is cited by the Academy for her humanitarian efforts, and for balancing her career between entertainment and philanthropy.

Tosi will receive the honorary Oscar statuette based on his multiple Oscar nominations for costume design on such films as "La Cage aux Folles" and "La Traviata."

The honorary awards will be given out Saturday, Nov. 16, at the Dolby Ballroom at Hollywood & Highland Center, the home of the Academy Awards.
