"Arrow" is following the (great) trend of casting Robert Knepper to guest-star as a bad guy. The former "Prison Break" star will play a DC Comics villain, William Tockman, also known as "Clock King."

The TV version of the Clock King got his nickname thanks to his precise timing of crimes (as reported by TVLine). He keeps track of everything all the way down to the second.

Will the Clock King be worse than the other creepy characters that have shown up on "Arrow" in Season 2? That remains to be seen. Knepper's character will, however, show up in episode 14 -- the same episode that sees the return of Alex Kingston as Dinah Lance.

Although best-known for the role of T-Bag in "Prison Break," Knepper has had a wide variety of roles on television. He was a star of The CW's "Cult" and recently had a memorable guest-starring role on "The Blacklist." The actor's future appearances include "Mob City" and the "Hunger Games" movies based on "Mockingjay."

"Arrow" airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. on The CW. After Wednesday's (Dec. 11) midseason finale, the show will return with new episodes on Jan. 15.
