"Arrow" has cast Nicholas Lea ( "The X-Files") to guest-star in at least two upcoming episodes of Season 2.

Lea will play a character named Mark Francis, according to TVLine. A close associate of Walter Steele ( Colin Salmon), Francis will play a major role in the life of Moira Queen ( Susanna Thompson) after her murder trial ends. The actor is currently scheduled to appear in episodes 12 and 13, both of which are likely to air in the winter of 2014.

Will Moira soon be dating one of her ex-husband's friends? That would be rather awkward, although not entirely out of character.

Although best known for playing "X-Files" nemesis Krycek, Nicholas Lea has also appeared on "Supernatural," "Continuum," "The Killing" and more.

"Arrow" airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. on The CW.
