Ashton Kutcher's Steve Jobs biopic 'jOBS' to be released in April
"jOBS," the Steve Jobs biopic starring Ashton Kutcher, hasn't yet made it's premiere at the Sundance Film Festival, but it's already got a release date. Open Road Films and Five Star Feature Films purchased the rights to the project and announced it will be coming out in April.
When "jOBS" closes out Sundance later in January, it will be the first any audience has seen of the film. Thus far there hasn't been a trailer released, and the only official thing we've seen of the project is the above photo.
At least the film as one important person's stamp of approval. Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak has said that he's "glad" Kutcher is involved.
"I'm glad that he's onboard. I think he'll put a lot into it and that he cares about this particular subject," he said in a statement in April. "The fear that many might have is that Ashton was selected because he's 'hot' right now. But I feel that his selection was done in the most professional manner."
"jOBS" "chronicles the defining 30 years of Steve Jobs' life." Dermot Mulroney, Josh Gad and Lukas Haas also star in the movie.
