Aubrey O'Day lands reality show, 'Modern Family' split

Since Aubrey O'Day's other reality show "Making the Band" went so well (P.Diddy fired her from Danity Kane on the show), the singer is taking the reality TV plunge again with the Oxygen Network. [ Oxygen]

TV stars go to the silver screen: "Brothers & Sisters" Rob Lowe joins Jeremy Piven ("Entourage") and Thomas Jane ("Hung")in the Mark Pellington-directed indie thriller "I Melt With You" as a doctor with a drug addiction. [ Deadline]

ABC has selected former 20th Century TV exec Patrick Moran to replace Josh Barry as the head of drama. [ Variety]

"Modern Family" creators Steven Levitan and Christopher Lloyd are splitting up -- sort of. They'll continue to run the show together but are seeking separate new development deals. [ Vulture]
