Aubrey Plaza of 'Parks and Recreation' is chill on 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno'

Aubrey Plaza, who plays the quirky, low-key April Ludgate on NBC's "Parks and Recreation," stopped by "The Tonight Show" Tuesday night (Jan. 18). She was definitely channeling her character, as she brings Jay a gigantic rose and stiltedly talks about her weird family.

She informs Jay her name came from the song "Aubrey" by the band Bread. "It's a little depressing and kind of a down song. It's about a guy whose in love with a girl named Aubrey and he's never met her before ... but my mom liked it, I guess."

She goes on to talk about using her much-younger sister as "my evil little experiment." It's pretty delightful, if you have 10 minutes, watch both clips. "Parks and Rec" returns to NBC Thursday night at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT.
