The Backstreet Boys are celebrating their 20th anniversary in style. The boy band received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on April 22, and all the members -- A.J. McLean, Nick Carter, Kevin Richardson, Howie Dorough and Brian Littrell -- were present for the ceremony.

''What an honor it is. What a beautiful day. What another beautiful way to celebrate 20 years together," Richardson says of the experience. ''Backstreet is back," Carter adds, "and we aren't going anywhere.''

This is just the beginning of an exciting year for the Backstreet Boys. The band kicks off a tour in May, and the performances from that tour will be filmed for an upcoming documentary. There will then be a new album released later in 2013. The Backstreet Boys also recently performed a 20th anniversary show in Los Angeles to celebrate with fans and showcase some of their new material.

"It's amazing," Richardson tells Entertainment Weekly. "To be able to do this for so long, it's quite an accomplishment."
