"Beauty and the Beast" has cast Elisabeth Rohm ( "Law & Order") for a recurring guest role on Season 2 of the romantic fantasy show.

Rohm will play the character of Dana Maron, according to a report from EW.com. Maron is an FBI agent who is "dedicated to cleaning up the FBI." She arrives on the scene when she comes to New York in order to investigate a string of undercover operations. When Maron looks into the cases, she comes to believe that Catherine ( Kristin Kreuk) has some sort of connection to her own investigation.

Whatever Dana Maron finds out about Cat, it will be Detective Chandler who gets the most out of the relationship: Maron's presence "may ultimately lead to Cat learning more about her own past than she ever imagined."

Will Maron have some sort of connection to Catherine's father, Agent Bob Reynolds? It does seem possible.

Best known for the role of ADA Serena Southerlyn on "Law & Order," Rohm will appear in at least four episodes of "Beauty and the Beast" in the second season."

"Beauty and the Beast" airs Mondays at 9 p.m. on The CW.
