Martha Stewart has a new heir to the throne of her media and home décor empire. Radio host Alexis Stewart, Martha's only child, had her first baby via surrogacy on March 7 and now she's sharing her with the world.

US points out that the radio host posted images of her new daughter, Jude, on her blog, whateverradio.com, over the weekend.

Alexis has been very open about her struggles to conceive. "Having my own kid is the most important thing in my life," she said on The Oprah Winfrey Show in 2007. "I'm trying everything I can."

At the time, she also said she was spending about $20,000 a month on fertility treatments.

At 69, Grand-Martha is apparently very much the doting nana. She arrived at the hospital after the baby was born with a box from the ritzy Bergdorf department store filled with embroidered baby clothes. But, Alexis doesn't seem keen on her mother spoiling the child just yet.

"I'm like 'Wow, I guess I'm going to be allowed to buy myself something pretty nice because all this stuff is going back!" she says on her radio show. "If the kid can't see it, why the $100 [outfits]? Only books, child appropriate or whatever: that's the only thing that I want. No toys please!"

We're sure Martha is penning a series of children's book just for Jude right now! Congrats to the new mom and grandma!
