Ben Affleck, Matt Damon reteam; 'Up,' 'Family Guy' get Genesis Awards noms

ben-affleck-matt-damon-320.jpgOscar-winning "Good Will Hunting" screenwriting buddies Matt Damon and Ben Affleck are teaming up again.

The actors are in talks to seal up a first-look producing deal at Warner Bros., according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The buddies have had a hand at producing together before with LivePlanet, which had a deal back in the day with Disney. It's not certain if the duo will create a new name for the new venture or stick with LivePlanet.

LivePlanet has been involved with Disney's upcoming "Tron Legacy" and was also behind the "Project Greenlight" features and Affleck's directorial debut "Gone Baby Gone," starring his brother Casey.

In other movie news, The Humane Society of the United States have announced their nominees for the Genesis Awards in film, TV and news reports. The awards recognize those media projects that feature animal protection issues.
