Big congratulations go out to the new Q in the 007 film franchise, Ben Whishaw. A year after he quietly entered into a civil partnership with Australian composer Mark Bradshaw, the "Skyfall" actor officially has come out as gay and is confirming their relationship.

"Ben has never hidden his sexuality, but like many actors he prefers not to discuss his family or life outside of his work," Whishaw's spokesman tells the Daily Mail. "Due to speculation, I can confirm that Ben and Mark entered into a civil partnership in August 2012. They were proud to do so and are very happy."

Considering the Queen legalized gay marriage recently, Whishaw and Bradshaw can now officially tie the knot. The couple met on the set of Jane Campion's 2009 film "Bright Star." In it, Bradshaw scored the music and Whishaw played poet John Keats.
