Bethenny Frankel's talk show canceled before it began

Formerly of "Real Housewives of New York," "Bethenny Getting Married?" and "Bethenny Ever After," Frankel attempted to drum up buzz for a syndicated talk show with several advice segments on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show." However, with new talk shows in the works from Katie Couric, Ricki Lake, Steve Harvey and Jeff Probst, it seems that Frankel fell by the wayside.

TheWrap reports that Telepictures, the prospective distributor, has shelved the project.

Why?

According to Page Six, station owners found Frankel to be "too aggressive" in their meetings. She allegedly had some sessions with a "nice coach" -- seriously -- to make her less offensive.
