Betty White on 'The Middle': First look

betty-white-middle3.jpgWhat happens when showbiz's most unstoppable 88-year-old meets up with one of the funniest 11-year-olds on television?

Well, we don't know for sure yet, but it looks something like that up above. ABC has released photos of Betty White's guest appearance on the season finale of "The Middle," and we're liking what we see.

In the episode, scheduled for May 19, White plays Mrs. Nethercott, the librarian at Brick's ( Atticus Shaffer) school -- and she may hold the key to whether Brick advances to the third grade. At the end of the school year, Frankie (Patricia Heaton) and Mike (Neil Flynn) discover that Brick has 31 overdue books checked out of the library, which is endangering his chances at being promoted.

From the looks of things, though, Brick may melt Mrs. Nethercott's heart. Have a look at a couple more photos from the episode.
