Beyonce's 'Video Phone' with Lady Gaga, guns and 'Bettie Page'

videophone_play_290.jpgBeyonce and Lady Gaga are on a roll this year, and they keep on rollin' along with their collaboration on "Video Phone."

The video, which premiered on MTV and VH1 overnight, is filled with so much imagery, it's difficult to know where to start.

First of all, props to Lady Gaga for not upstaging Beyonce, whose video it is after all. Ms. Gaga is the most uncovered and least costume-y than we've ever seen her before. Are those her real features? She reminds us of Alexis Arquette. She's also relegated somewhat to a back-up dancer status, not that they're anything wrong with that in a Beyonce video. Hey, Justin Timberlake proved that!

Now Beyonce herself, wow. Talk about your Sasha Fierce! She has so many looks and costume changes, it's hard to keep up. The colorful guns and wartime imagery is a little provocative, as is her cleavage, but hey, if you got it, flaunt it.

We particularly like the tribute to Bettie Page.

Beyonce has had one of the most arguably iconic video in years with "Single Ladies," a video that has been often spoofed and referenced in YouTube videos with dancing babies. The ubiquitous Lady Gaga has kept us guessing this year and just made a guest appearance on The CW's "Gossip Girl" Monday night.

Love it or hate it? Do you want a video phone?
