'Big Brother 14': Joe proves once again why he is a terrible player
But about last night ...
So we all saw on the CBS broadcast that Joe is kind of terrible at this game. He got nominated and kind of lost his mind and Janelle had to beat him over the head with the idea that he should be playing it cool and making nice with Shane or he was going to get himself booted.
Now he has shown to be even dumber than we all thought.
The plan all along between Shane, Wil, Ashley, Danielle and Joe has been to take Ashley off the block, act like Frank is a pawn and Joe is the target, and then blindside Frank. They want to really convince Frank and Boogie that Joe is leaving so that Frank and Boogie don't harass them all week long.
But Wednesday night on the feeds, Joe started appealing to Jenn for her vote. Now, paranoia is understandable, but Joe straight-up tells her he has Danielle's vote, which would mean he doesn't need Jenn's vote. It's so weird!
Joe says to Jenn, "As it stands right now, I think I'm gonna get Danielle's vote because, the only reason I say that, is last week she came to me and said if I vote for her, she would return the favor. It was a promise and it was a deep promise."
So, now not only does it look like Joe has the three votes to stay, but he has alerted one of Boogie's team members that Danielle is voting for him.
Joe continues to say some weird stuff to Jenn:
"If by some chance I go home, you need to come directly to me 'cause I have something to tell you as I'm going out the door."
Um, what is he going to spill the beans to her about?
"If I stay, you absolutely won't go on the block next week. I have that word from Shane. Shane can't be Head of Household."
So, what good does Shane's word do if he can't even compete for HOH?
The whole thing was really rather baffling. And his team overhears him talking to Jenn and naturally they are not happy about it, because if Boogie and Frank think Frank is out the door, they have a whole day to work on people for votes.
Janelle actually says to Britney later on the feeds that this is just a prime example of how bad Joe is at Big Brother and that's why he needs to stay.
Tonight's live eviction show should be pretty interesting.
