'Big Brother 15': Amanda and Elissa make amends but it might be too little, too late
So, we told you all yesterday how Elissa is trying to flip the house and keep Amanda there. Based on some grumblings from Judd, we suspect it is production who gave Elissa a nod in that direction. Whether they really want Amanda to stay or if they just need some tension this week, we do not know.
But obviously, for editing the broadcasts, it's more interesting if it's not a foregone conclusion about who is going home.
Either way, Elissa and Amanda are suddenly BFFs. They had a big come-to-Jesus reconciliation on the hammock last night starting around 8:15 p.m. PT. Amanda apologizes to Elissa for going crazy, saying:
"I regret it more than anything I've ever done, like ever. I think, like, something snapped in me. I think it was a combination of GinaMarie and Aaryn telling me your plan was to actually get rid of me and I think I just went crazy. I literally went, like, nuts. It's the no. 1 thing that I regret in this game. They had to bring in like the co-EP to come in and be like, 'Amanda'" -- cut to fish.
So, production did step in to tell Amanda to knock it off. Probably moreso because it's harder to edit her as a funny hero when she's acting like a crazy person than the fact that they were stopping the harassment. The game is all about harassing fellow houseguests.
Anyway, so Amanda is feeling pretty good that Elissa and Andy are voting to keep her and with McCrae's vote, that's enough for her to stay. Little does she know that the Exterminators are having none of this plan and it's actually Judd and Andy voting her out. That'll make it a 2-2 tie and GinaMarie is going to evict Amanda.
It's nice that Amanda and Elissa have made up and apologized and stuff, but we think it's probably a case of too little, too late for the Exterminators.
Speaking of, the Exterminators are looking even farther into the future beside getting Amanda out. They suspect this week is another double eviction episode and Elissa is their top target. If she doesn't win HOH, look for her to follow Amanda right out the door.
We're actually kind of hoping that Elissa does win HOH just because it'll be interesting to see who gets evicted at that point.
What are you hoping happens this week, hamster fans?
