Bobby Brown 'not driving eratically,' says lawyer

bobby-brown-gi.jpg Bobby Brown may have been deemed unfit to drive on Monday (March 26) when he was arrested in Los Angeles on suspicion of driving under the influence, but his lawyer says Brown was in control of the situation.

"Everyone is innocent until proven guilty, and Mr. Brown was not driving erratically," lawyer Tiffany Feder tells the New York Daily News. "He was speaking on his cell phone."

"Mr. Brown has not been convicted of anything associated with this incident," Feder continues. "Mr. Brown is taking this matter seriously, and an investigation is underway. The legal process shall run its course."

Meanwhile, ex mother-in-law Cissy Houston feels her negative opinion of Brown and concerns about him being a bad influence on daughter Bobbi Kristina were confirmed by the arrest, reports TMZ.

Longtime Houston fan Kim Burrell says Brown may well be unstable, but it's to be expected.

"He spent 17 years in a relationship and marriage with Whitney, so why wouldn't he be going through some difficult times right now?" she tells the Daily News.
