Box Office: 'Texas Chainsaw 3D' slashes its way to No. 1 ahead of 'Django Unchained'

texas-chainsaw-3d-lionsgate.jpg"Texas Chainsaw 3D" took the box office by surprise this weekend, massacring "Django Unchained" to bring home the No. 1 spot for Lionsgate. The horror flick, which captivated the under-25 crowd, took in $23 million domestically for the weekend.

In second place, "Django" brought in $20.1 for The Weinstein Co., raising it's domestic gross to $106.4 million. "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" brought up third, grossing $17.5 million, bringing its domestic total to $263.8 million.
