Box Office: Top 4 movies all earn over $20 million Presidents Day weekend

safe-house.jpgThe Friday-Saturday-Sunday numbers for Presidents Day weekend are in and they are pretty strong, with four movies finishing with over $20 million apiece. "Safe House," "The Vow," "Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance" and "Journey 2: The Mysterious Island" all earned over $20 million, with the top two, "Safe House" and "The Vow," earning over $23 million each.

"This Means War," the newest Reese Witherspoon romantic comedy (and sort-of action movie) opened with a solid $17.6 million, while the re-release of "Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace" in 3D earned almost $8 million.
