'Breaking Bad': Steven Michael Quezada's 'Ozymandias' behind-the-scene pic will make fans smile
Warning: "Breaking Bad" spoilers ahead for those who have not seen Sept. 15's episode "Ozymandias."
"Breaking Bad" fans said goodbye to two main characters in the Season 5 episode "Ozymandias." Both Steve Gomez (Steven Michael Quezada) and Hank Schrader (Dean Norris) were killed off by Jack after episode 13's epic shootout, and the reveal that both DEA agents were dead was one of the saddest moments in the third-to-last "Breaking Bad" episode.
Though their deaths were sad for the actors involved, it turns out the mood on set during the shootout wasn't entirely somber. Quezada, who spent the first 25 years of his career as a comedian, couldn't resist cracking jokes during the scene. Bryan Cranston captured one such moment in a photo that shows Quezada, Norris and "To'hajiilee" director Michelle McLaren all laughing at a joke made by Quezada.
Quezada posted the image to Facebook and recounted to fans how he served his quip. Before the shootout, Jack asks Hank and Gomez, "Show us your badges. How do we know you're cops?" to which Quezada says he responded, "Because Dean Norris plays a cop on every TV da** show!"
Quezada wasn't the only one sharing behind-the-scenes "Breaking Bad" photos. "Ozymandias" director Rian Johnson also shared a bunch on his Twitter account.
Do the above photo and the fact that there was some levity on the set of "Breaking Bad" make the painful events of "Ozymandias" any easier to stomach?
