Bristol Palin's 'Life's A Tripp' replaced by 'Dance Moms' reruns

bristol-tripp-palin-gallery-lifetime-325.jpgIt seems that Bristol Palin's reality show "Life's A Tripp" has failed to pick up the viewership that Lifetime hoped to see. With lackluster ratings plaguing the series, Lifetime has bumped it out of the primetime 10 p.m. EST spot, pushing it to 11 p.m. Now, "Dance Moms" reruns will air at 10 p.m. instead.

Prioritizing Abby Lee Miller repeat airings over the GOP's newest advocate for abstinence education may seem like a drastic move, but given the fact that less than 800,000 people tuned in for Palin's big premiere, we're not surprised.

Meanwhile, the show has also been targeted by a lawsuit from Palin's former "Dancing With the Stars" costar, Kyle Massey, who inked a deal to star in a reality series with Palin for the BIO channel before that show fell through. Massey, his brother Christopher, and their mother Angel claim that they helped develop the show and were pushed out by Lifetime. They're seeking damages for copyright infringement, breach of contract and unfair competition.
