Brittany Kerr: Jason Aldean incident was a 'lapse in judgment'
The married country singer (pictured above with his wife Jessica) has since released an apology, saying "I had too much to drink, let the party get out of hand and acted inappropriately at a bar ... I ultimately ended up embarrassing my family and myself. I'm not perfect, and I'm sorry for disappointing you guys."
Now Kerr has released her own apology, saying in a statement that the incident was a "lapse in judgment."
"The actions I portrayed recently were not a representation of my true character, but a lapse in judgment on my part. I would like to sincerely apologize to everyone that has been affected by this, including my friends and family," says Kerr.
Sources close to Kerr have told TMZ that she did not know Aldean was married. Aldean and his wife Jessica have been together since high school and married since 2001. They have two daughters.
