Carnie Wilson's weight loss surgery sees 30-pound loss so far

wilson-phillips-getty.jpgWilson Phillips singer Carnie Wilson (pictured above, left, in January with her bandmates) has undergone weight loss surgery again, she tells People magazine. Twelve years ago she famously had gastric bypass and shed 150 lbs. This time around, she had the procedure for the lap band and has so far lost 30 lbs.

"It was the right decision for me and I'm doing really well so far. It's all about taking good care of myself," says Wilson. She cites the hard-to-lose post-baby weight as the main reason for her second round of surgery.

The girl band with early 1990s hits like "Hold On," "Release Me" and "You're in Love," is getting back together for a new album, "Dedicated," which drops April 3. The girls, Carnie's sister Wendy and Chynna Phillips, are also launching a reality show for the TV Guide Network. It's called "Wilson Phillips: Still Holding On" and it premieres April 8.

Good luck to Carnie in her weight loss journey.
