Carrie Underwood sad to see 'American Idol' country girl Skylar Laine go

carrie-underwood-american-idol.jpgLike many former "American Idol" contestants before her, Carrie Underwood returned to the show that made her famous to promote her latest release. The Season 4 winner dropped by the Top 5 results show to perform "Blown Away," the lead single from her new album of the same name, and Zap2it couldn't resist asking her about her Season 11 favorites.

"Of course I loved seeing Skylar up there representing country music," she tells Zap2it backstage after her performance. "It's sad to see her not on the show anymore."

So, now that the country girl is gone, who's got her vote heading into Top 4 week? All of them. "I mean they are all very good. It's hard for me," she admits. "I have no idea who it is going to be. They really occupy their own genres and music which is really cool. I just have no idea who will end up as the winner."

Yes, she follows the show even though she's achieved such success in her industry. She says she's still indebted to the show that made her famous. "It's really nice that they let me come back," she laughs. "I mean, it's such an amazing show and for me to actually be a part of it is very cool and very special to me."
