Casey Affleck expected third child for Boston Red Sox World Series win
Casey Affleck came on "Good Morning America" to promote his new film "Out of the Furnace," but though he promised the movie allegedly includes all things people are currently buzzing over -- "Adam Levine," "Jennifer Lawrence," "puppies," "we give away cars" -- talk inevitably turned to his personal life.
In 2006, Affleck married his girlfriend of six years Summer Phoenix. They have two sons, Indiana August and Atticus, and it just so happened that their births aligned with the Red Sox winning the World Series. When the Red Sox won this year, Affleck says he "was very psyched." But he also expected for his wife to follow suit with the trend of the previous two World Series victories.
"I have two boys and they were both born 2004 and 2007, which were the other two years the Red Sox won the World Series," he says. "So when this was happening, I was sort of expecting my wife to just give birth right away, game 7. That didn't happen."
"Out of the Furnace" is due in theaters on Dec. 6.
