Charlie Day, Emma Stone and Jason Segel hosting 'Saturday Night Live' in November
"SNL" is dark for the rest of October, but it will return Nov. 5 with host Charlie Day, one of the stars and co-creators of "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia." He also starred in the summer movie "Horrible Bosses" with "SNL" regular Jason Sudeikis. Day will be joined by musical guest Maroon 5, making its third appearance on the show.
Stone will host the Nov. 12 show with musical guest Coldplay. She's coming off a very busy summer ("Friends With Benefits," "Crazy, Stupid, Love," "The Help") and stars in one of the more heavily anticipated movies of 2012, "The Amazing Spider-Man." She also did a pretty good job in her debut last season, so we're looking forward to her return.
On Nov. 19, "How I Met Your Mother" regular and "The Muppets" star/co-writer Jason Segel will hit the "SNL" stage for the first time, four days before "The Muppets" opens in theaters. Florence + the Machine is the scheduled musical guest.
Segel, incidentally, will be the third former "Freaks and Geeks" star to host "SNL," following James Franco and Seth Rogen.
