Charlie Sheen NOT returning to 'Two and a Half Men,' says Warner Bros. [UPDATED]

sheen-winning-gi.jpgOn Wednesday, Charlie Sheen (winner) told a Boston radio station that not only is he in talks with CBS to return to "Two and a Half Men," but that the chances of him coming back to the show are "85 percent."

Not that Sheen is given to hyperbole, but for clarity's sake the show's producer, Warner Bros. Television, has weighed in with a letter from their legal counsel, John W. Spiegel, to Sheen's. TMZ obtained a copy, which reads:

"I am writing in response to recently reported statements attributed to your client Charlie Sheen that he is "in discussions" about returning to the seris Two and a Half Men. Those statements are false. As you know, there have been no discussions, there are no discussions and there will be no discussions, regardung his returning to or having any involvement with the series."

Based on that, we'd put Sheen's chances of returning to CBS at zero percent. The chance that Sheen will still think a return is possible is, however, still at 85 percent.

We'll update if and when Sheen replies.

[ Update: Sheen's lawyer responds Marty Singer tells TMZ, "There have been discussions as late as Tuesday, and all parties have been involved -- Warner Bros., CBS, Chuck Lorre and Charlie Sheen."]
