'Charlie's Angels': First look at Minka Kelly and the new team
ABC has released a photo from its remake/reboot/re-whatever of
"Charlie's Angels" -- and while there's not a whole lot going on in the picture, at least the three stars look happy together.
Here's the pic:
The pilot stars (from left) Annie Ilonzeh ("General Hospital," "Percy Jackson and the Olympians"), Rachael Taylor ("Grey's Anatomy") and Minka Kelly ("Friday Night Lights," "The Roommate") as the three Angels, who work for a private-investigation firm in Miami. Robert Wagner is providing the voice of Charlie, and Ramon Rodriguez ("Battle: Los Angeles," "The Wire") plays Bosley.
"Smallville" creators Miles Millar and Al Gough wrote the pilot and are executive producing it with Drew Barrymore -- who starred in the two "Angels" movies in the early 2000s -- her business partner Nancy Juvonen and Leonard Goldberg, who exec produced the original series. Marcos Siega ("The Vampire Diaries") directed the pilot.
"Charlie's Angels" is considered a pretty strong bet to make ABC's 2011-12 schedule. We hope that if it does go to series, Taylor's character gets something better to wear.
