Chloe Moretz in 'Carrie': First-look pics of new Stephen King adaptation

chloe-moretz-carrie-ew-mgm.jpg"Let Me In" actress Chloe Moretz is stepping into the iconic pig's-blood-drenched shoes of Stephen King's "Carrie" -- and Entertainment Weekly has the first look at photos from the remake of the 1976 horror film starring Moretz in the title role originated by Sissy Spacek and Julianne Moore as Carrie's abusive, God-fearing mother.

"We only have, like, four chances to get it right," Moretz tells EW about shooting the scene where Carrie gets covered head-to-toe in pig's blood as a prank and then turns loose her telekinetic powers her fellow students at prom. "Because that stuff stains your hair."

According to MTV, the new "Carrie" will draw more heavily from the novel than the original movie.

"[Brian] De Palma's movie is absolutely amazing," Moretz says. "What we're actually doing is we're taking the book and we're breaking the book down and we're putting a lot of elements of the book into our story, so it's more of like a 'Black Swan' version of it. So you really see the mythology of the character and you really see everything going on with Carrie. It's darker."

How do you think Moretz looks as Carrie?
